Plan Menu & Do Prep Work: Start getting ready a day or two before the game. Keep the menu simple and pack prepared food in shallow plastic containers; they help cold foods stay chilled, great to stack on top of each other, and they don't break. You can even use zip-lock bags whenever possible. This way you can just throw the bags out, instead of trying to clean a bunch of Tupperware containers. Make a Check List of the Items: This is a great way not to forget an item. The last thing you want to happen is looking for something that you need and it's not there. Check off items as you pack. This should include your TICKETS and a whopping $15 for parking!! If you have couple of people attending, make a list of what each person is going to bring. Check below for the full complete list. So many people have come over and ask for fire, bottle opener, charcoal, Gees people, it's a tailgate! Get with it! Tailgating Supplies: Bring a large plastic Rubbermaid box with a lid for all your tailgating supplies like paper products, cutlery, trash bags, etc. Get a clear one so you can see inside the box for a quick inventory each week even a Giants one will do. Also, when football season is over, the box is easily stored in the basement until next year. |
